• So I want my homepage do display three paragraphs of text with an image to the left and some bullet points following. In the editor this seems to be fine, but when the site goes live the formatting goes all over the place and I have line spacing where I don’t want it and no paragraphing. Also the font of the text seems to change half way through even though I have not changed it at all.

It is all selected as “paragraph”

    Here is a link:

Also I am new to wordpress/ website building so please explain what to do in very simple terms.

    Thanks in advance ??

This sounds like the symtom of wpautop(), and also some typical issues of using WYSIWYG. The best thing to do is never use Visual, use HTML ( recently, renamed to Text ) instead.

When editing post/page look over to the top right corner of editing window, you will see Visual and Text, choose Text, and learn to use it. The amount of time learning this will pay off in the long run.
