Different template for Home and Blog pages

    Hi,
    I am fairly new to WordPress so apologies if this is a dumb question.
    I am using your theme and have a static home page which uses the sidebar template and I have a blog page which I want to use the full width template. However even though I set this correctly the page always appears with the same template as the Home page. If I change the Home page to Full width the Blog changes as well.
    I did a bit of searching and found other people have had this issue with other themes, so I wonder if this is actually a core WordPress issue.
    But is it possible to achieve what I want easily?
