• Hi,

I need some help. I’ve set a standard tax tarif and a reduced tax tarif.

    • my products are all set to have the reduced tax tarif
    • my shipping methods have the standard tax tarif
    • For the standard shipping tax i’ve checked ‘shipping’ and for the reduced tax rate i unchecked ‘shipping’.
    • The shipping method on checkout shows the amount excl. tax, per usual (i add it shipping cost excluding tax and it usually shows up inclusing tax on checkout.

On checkout it only shows the 9% tax. Which is presented through the germanized plugin.

Calculating the tax manually it doesnt add up.

What do i need to look out for, setting wise, to have standard tax for shipping and reduced tax for products (again, i’ve set tax for each product to reduced).

  • Hey there, @aristotle25! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

As I understand the tax for the product is different than the tax for the shipping, but on checkout it shows the same tax for both, correct?

You also mentioned the Germanized plugin, but I’m not sure I understand its role here, do you mind clarifying it? Does it show correctly if this plugin is disabled?

Can you please share screenshots of how you have this set up so we can take a look?

I recommend using https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

    We need screenshots of:

    • WooCommerce > Settings > Taxes
    • WooCommerce > Settings > Taxes > Standard Rates
    • Reduced rates and zero rates also
    • Checkout page showing the taxes on your end

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!
