Different shipping modes

    Hi,
    I installed the advanced free shipping plugin which is great. I have a question. Basically I would have two shipping modes in Hungary. One of them is a courier service, and the other is a similar to the post service. Basically I can set up the two shipping modes. But when I apply free shipping to an item (a single product with “equal to” value) then only one shipping mode can be used, e.g. courier, and the other mode cannot be selected. So, this plugin overrides the set up shipping modes.
    What do I do wrong in set up? Or does it work like that and only one shipping mode can be used with products set up to free shipping?

    Hi Fred,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    There is an checkbox on the ‘Advanced Free Shipping’ options page where you can set if you want to hide the other shipping methods if free shipping is available.

    When you unmark this, other shipping methods will be shown next to the free shipping method.

    Hope this is what you meant, if not, please provide an URL with explanation.

    Hi,
    Thank you for answering. The problem is not so simple unfortunately. Here it is: I have the courier service set up now. For this I installed a table rate plugin, so that aboove a determined amount there would be free shipping. It is now over 10000 HUF cart total. So basically I have two options now (both with the courier), a charge under the 10000 HUF cart total and free shipping over 10000HUF cart total. In the meantime we made a package of different products of which value is not reaching the 10000HUF, but since it is quite expensive, we offer the free shipping with your plugin. I use it with marking the checkbox of “hide the other shipping methods”. In this case it works fine.
    If I unmark the checkbox at “hide the other shipping methods” then if I put the packaged product into the cart, then on the cart page I will have a roll down menu with showing the two options of courier shipping, one with the charge and also the other with the free solution. (If I would set up the postal service as well with the same table rate solution, then in this “unmarked” solution I would have 4 different options, two charged and two free options and the customer should select.) This is not good this way, it would confuse the customers. So, this is my problem. Maybe I expect too much from woocommerce – which is free, you know.
    Do you have any idea how to solve it?

    Hi Fred,

    I still have some questions;
    – What shipping options do you want the customer to see when he’s got packaged products in his cart?

    If you have 2 courier services which has costs until cart total reaches 10000 and above free, you should set this within the table rate shipping plugin.

    If you want your customers to see the other shipping options, but not want them to see free shipping twice, add the following condition to the same group; you can set subtotal – equal to or less – 10000, then free shipping with the package will be via my plugin until 10000.
