different settings for single pages

    hi there,

    I have one page that should have ‘weekly’ on ‘Change Frequency’ while all other pages are on ‘monthly’

    AND I have one page where the content comes from an sql-table so I need to get the last-change-time also from the latest record in that table and ping google on new records

    so may there is a function to change the values on the fly everytime sitemap is generated or something like that?
    only option I found was to exclude this 2 pages from sitemap and add them as ‘Additional Pages’ but updaten change-time seems to be hard

    edit: and both pages need highest priority

    @herzla, we will be adding filter support in the future, however please remember that search engines no longer use the Ping Protocol as of 2024 and as a result that feature has been disabled.

    Furthermore, search engines either rely on the Last Modified date or the IndexNow protocol. Either way, the Priority and Change Frequency are no longer meaningful signals.
