Different SEO title on page and title tag

    Hello,

    when I change SEO title for “Search Appearance > Taxonomies > Tags”
    to “term_title sep sitename” I get the site_name in the html title tag, but it is also visible on the page itself which I would like to avoid.

    When SEO title is changed only to “term_title” it removes sitename from the page, but it gets removed from html title tag as well.

    Is it somehow possible to customize it to display the SEO title in html title tag but not the page itself in free version, which I have, or premium which I would buy if this is possible?

    The title visible on the page is controlled by your theme. This likely means they are outputting the same title instead of the post/page title.

    This can be confirmed during a conflict check. How To Check For Plugin Conflicts

    I am additionally getting comparable issues with my site, I am seeing duplicate metas for paginated pages.

    After reading this, I changed the following settings in my yoast plugin:

    I changed my Homepage title to:

    Custom Homepage Title %%page%%

    & for description added %%page%% at the end of the paragraph.
