• Hi there,
I am working on a website that uses the Flatsome theme, which has a superb integration of Woocommerce, and I bumped into a problem. I’d like to show the products on the category page in list view. By using the Woocommerce shortcodes I’m also showing some popular products on the homepage and some special products in the (mega) menu.
But when I setup the list view for the shop/category page, the display of products also changes for the products shown by the shortcodes. So, the products on the homepage and menu are shown in list display, while I’d like to show them in grid display.
Is there any way to solve this issue? Preferable without another plugin ??
    Thanks!

  • Flatsome supports WooCommerce as you say, so you have a reasonable expectation that it shouldn’t mess up WooCommerce shortcodes. So I think you need to take this up with Flatsome tech support. www.remarpro.com forum members don’t have access to commercial themes.

I am not so sure whether this is an issue for Flatsome, I’d like to know how to change the way the shortcodes display the products ?? I’m sure it’s possible to show Woocommerce products on different ways in one website, I just don’t know how.

BTW, what do you mean with your last line?

So far as I know, which is not saying too much, I’ve not come across different ways of showing products using just the WooCommerce core plugin. There is only one way as defined by the templates at /plugins/woocommerce/templates/… I suspect the other format you describe is achieved by a Flatsome custom template, so switching that in or out is best explained by the vendor’s techs.

WooCommerce problems are rightly aired here, and sometimes it can be difficult to deduce whether a particular issue relates to WC or to a compatible theme, but the forum position on commercial products is elaborated up on here:
