Different problems with polylang

    Hello,
    i am not new to wordpress, but it is the first time i use this support because i have no idea where these problems come from..

    1. languages
    I added english and german languages to my website using the default files and default code and there is shown a default flag (german and eglish) but i am not able to delete OLD languages. Then my created languages will disappear..
    So now i have two german and two english languages..
    The two i dont use i named them for example “english_dont_use”..

    2. Backend languages menu in top navi bar
    in the top navigation bar is a languages menu where i can choose my languages i want to see for example on menu item “pages”.
    If i choose “german” all german pages are shown, if i choose “english” all english arepages are shown. But i would like to see ALL pages and when i use “all languages” i see nothing… what is wrong?
    – I also cant see “drafts”
    – and the number of pages isnt correct. It says there are total pages = 4, but when i choose the single languages there are two german pages shown and 1 english page, so total pages are 3. Where is number 4?

    3. frontend top navi menu item
    frontend shows the US Flag to change language. But next to it there is a menu button called “Untutled Entry – Read Full Article” What is it? Where is it from? How can i remove this? i tried everything and diferent language menus, but it will not disappaer in german or in english menu.. what can i do?
    Hint: It is linked to a permalink page with language code “de_”, but my german language code is “de” without “_”

    I like this plugin, it is best plugin for my needs, but i dont know how to solve these problems. If anyone knows.. please help me

    Hello
    1. Could you deativate all your plugins and try to delete your languages by click on “Delete” for you “L?schen”.
    If it doesn’t work switch on Twenty Fifteen + only Polylang and try to delete your languages.

    Wow Chrystl i thank you so much, that solved all the problems above! ??
    But what was wrong? I am just interested..

    But now i have a new problem..

    On Frontend website is top navi menu with US-Flag and my menu buttons.
    If i press one of these buttons (link to page) the page appears, top navi is still there, but US-Flag disappeared.
    Whats wrong?

    But what was wrong?

    Maybe a conflict with your theme or a plugin.

    Could you give a link to your website?

    And one last thing…

    If i add a post it is listed in two languages. I can link a german to an english page and it works perfect

    Could you provide the same screen copy but complete. I want to see the different admin sidebar?

    I tested with WPRestyle Version: 0.9.7 and Polylang 1.7.8 and I didn’t reproduce a such issue.
    Do you use the WPRestyle Version: 0.9.7 ?

    Could you make the test with only WPRestyle Version: 0.9.7 + Polylang?
    If it work, please activate one by one your plugin to find the conflict.

    All my Plugins are still deactivated.
    Only Activated Plugin ist Polylang!

    WPRestyle Version is 0.9.7
    Polylang is 1.7.8
    Wordpress is 4.2.3

    Maybe there is any conflict in my DB? I tried a few other language plugins before…

    Sorry my mistake I understood that your issue was the question mark. But it’s you who add it on your screen copy?

    If you want to see the language german column select “Show all languages” in the admin bar.

    the question mark should show where i am missing the language.

    I selected “Show All Languages” but when i want to see my “pages” i see only german pages.
    In “posts” everything is fine, there i can see both..

    I selected “Show All Languages” but when i want to see my “pages” i see only german pages.

    Make this test:
    1- Switch on Twenty Fifteen + only Polylang (*all* plugins deactivated). Do you see your both languages?
    2- Then if it works switch on your theme + only Polylang. Do you see your both languages on the pages list?
    3 – If it works activate your plugins one by one and check at each time that your both language are still there on the pages list.
