• I want to use WordPress as the basis of a website so I do not need the posts/comments/archives/etc. functions. I have found a few themes that automatically add pages to a top horizontal nav which is ideal for what I want, however…

    Say I have:

    Page 1
    – Page 1 child 1
    – Page 1 child 2
    Page 2
    – Page 2 child 1
    – Page 2 child 2

    and so on…

Say I have Page 1 in the top nav bar, then when clicked on how can I get the child pages, of it only, to appear listed in the sidebar?

I hope this is clear – as you can imagine this style of navigation is ideal for a website and almost identical to that seen on www.remarpro.com

I would really appreciate some ideas on this one!

    Thanks ??

    Trust me…I have searched! ??

The first link that you posted there looks very promising – I’ll have a try with the code.

    Thanks for the heads up!

    Hmm…getting there…

I have the Nav bar along the top now as desired but I am finding it difficult to display the correct child page information in the sidebar.

i.e. If Page 1 was selected on the top horizontal nav bar – then the sidebar would show ONLY the ‘Page 1 child’ pages in a list

    – Page 1 child 1
    – Page 1 child 2

What is the easiest way to do this? I have tried Page fold stuff and can’t quite get there.

    Help! Please ??
