• Hi!

My website is per default in German, I have just set up an English version, and I need a third language version as well. I am using WPML for this. Now I have translated everything for the English version except for the cookie notice. Where do I go in order to set up the English text for the English version?

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Using WPML you can translate all the plugin strings in String Translation tool.

    Hello,

I have the same problem and the string translation tool does not have any effect.
The english text is always dispalying.
Note that I don’t have any English language set up in the wpml settings (only German and french). Furthermore, my backend language is set to german.

I’m not able to get the german / french cookie text depending on the kanguage the user is on. What am I missing.

I found it there, and was able to solve it. I already had a German text in there, which was then shown in the English version of my site, so I had to replace the original one with English text and then translate to the other languages.

If you search for the word “cookies” in the search field on the top left hand side in the String Translation you should get a result from the domain “cookie-notice”. That’s the one you need.

I did all this but it doesn’t work on my end.
I put the original english text in the cookie settings and tranlated the text in the string translation tool, but I always get the english text. I tried multiple different settings, nothing seems to work.
