• Hi

Thanks for a really great plugin.

I used this on two sites. And my site load speed improved a lot. The second one I am not sure about as I have a lot of images but they are not at the usual place. The images for this site is at wp-content/themes/classifiedstheme/thumbs

Can you tell me if your plugin will pick them up and if not what can I do to bulk reduce the images in this folder?

If I take all these images and dump them in the normal blog image dir would the plugin pick them up? If so then I can dump them there and place them back when done.

Imsanity uses the WordPress database to look for files, so it’s really irrelevant where they’re physically stored.

But it’s possible to have files that are not in the database – for example uploaded manually or via a plugin or theme that uses a non-standard way to upload. Imsanity can’t find those files.

If the files aren’t in the database, then you can just use a batch script or macro or anything you want to resize them. WordPress won’t know the difference. Imsanity isn’t needed to update the database metadata in that situation.
