Oh WordPress, how do I hate thee.

    1) Is there an EASY way – as in doesn’t require spending the next two weeks learning to code – that will SIMPLY let me change the header text on each (static) page to something different?

    2) How do you shrink the space between the header text and the (horizontal) menu? i.e. reposition the menu further upward? I’d like the gallery to fill the page.

    3) Also would like to add a secondary menu, to be displayed on most of the other pages, replacing the main menu on those pages.

    4) I”ll probably keep these white, but is there a way to change the page backgrounds from white to black if need be? I have a WordPress gallery on each page if that matters.

I definitely would like to stay with this theme if possible, it’s got a nice design to it.

I have never, ever hated a program so much in my life as WordPress. Really. Ever. I wish I could fling it from a high cliff and make it go away.

    So thx 4 any help

  • Hi,

Can you share a link maybe?
Don′t get upsetted with WordPress ?? And don′t worry, most of the things you need to change doesn′t seem to be really hard to do.

    Thank you Bensita,
Yes I am definitely “upsetted!” lol that puts it perfectly.
I have a maintenance page on it and am not comfortable publishing the URL just yet as I am still adding information to the site. Can I send you a link? And then I will need to disable the construction plugin for you.
SO glad someone answered my post! There is life out there after all.
    Thank you!

Hahah I said it the wrong, right?
No problem, send a link and I can take a look ??

I hope I did not offend you by joking about the word – it was meant to be humorous because the word was so perfect. Not in any way to be rude!

No it’s the perfect word to describe my level of frustration! It’s been upgraded to “upsetted” from ‘upset” and I think I may have to adopt that word and add it to my vocabulary if that’s ok! I love it! “Upset” doesn’t quite cut it. I’ve been at this since this morning and getting nowhere. “Upsetted,” on the other hand, describes it quite nicely.
So I should send that link through your website?
    thx

For some reason it won’t let me type in the contact box. I’m guessing that’s the correct place – don’t know Spanish. What’s the best way to send you a link?
if you want me to post it here, let me know when you will be online to look at it. I’ll post the link, and disable the construction page for you.

    Hi KS555,

I didn′t get upsetted by your joke, don′t worry about that!
I tested my contact form and is working. I′m not sure if it′s ok to share emails here but I use the same username with my gmail account.

Hi, anyone still in the thread? Could still use some advice on these. Thank you =)

One more question – I’d also like to add a second page menu for some of the minor pages – similar to this https://livedemo00.template-help.com/wordpress_50665/clients-view/marta-healy/ . Is that possible? It’d be nice if there was a way to do that with a curbed tabbed look but plain menu like this would be ok.

Basically I’d like to have a business info page with a photo on the top, then a menu below that, that would say, about, contact info, etc. In addition to the main menu on the page.
