Different header formatting shows briefly at page load

I had an image as the first element in my header. I was using GP and Elementor (free versions, both up-to-date) and noticed that when I loaded or refreshed the page that everything was shifted to the left (and sometimes wrapped) before correcting itself.

It happened on most (but not all) pages and posts. I switched to Astra theme to see what would happen and it does the same thing. I’m in a local dev environment at the moment, but I noticed something similar on another person’s online site using this same plugin so I don’t think it’s just me.

Do you have any ideas on what might be happening to cause this?
