    Hi!
I’m using Contact-7 to get new leads. In Post SMTP I have my [email protected], which works perfectly to send emails from WordPress.
I need to change the ‘from’ address of the Contact-7 emails, but although I changed the email address in C7, it keeps sending from [email protected]
I did removed the tickbox ‘ Prevent plugins and themes from changing this’ to the ‘from’ email address.
    What am I missing?
    Cheers
    Daniel

    Just adding:
I’m using Gmail API & the domain is an alias in my Gsuite legacy account

    Hi @dk9,

AFAIK, if you are using the Gmail API, the API will only be able to send as the main user – so this is not possible with this specific set up.

    Sorry about that.

    Kind Regards,
    Tim

Hi Tim, thanks for the answer. Which option should I use to allow it?

Or, would it be possible to force CF7 to use a different Gmail authorization which I will set to the correct address?
The rest of WordPress emails can be sent from the first address

I tried also SMTP and it won’t change the ‘from’ address.
Basically, I have 2 users in my Google Workspace account. Is it possible to connect both to POST smtp so I would be able to email ‘from’ both of them?

    Hi @dk9,

Sorry, this is not supported at this time. You may have some success using G Suite over standard SMTP, however this is not as secure and I am unable to test that set up to confirm whether or not it would work.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind Regards,
    Tim
