    Hello,

I am working with two cargo companies and I have free shipping for orders over 50euros for both. When free shipping is available, all other shipping methods are hidden and free shipping is automatically chosen by default.

The problem is that I want the customers to choose which shipping method (the first cargo company or the second one) is best for them. I want both options to be displayed when shipping should be free and paid methods are hidden.

  • Hi there @eleutheriavhld,

    Thanks for reaching out.

If I understand you correctly, you want to have your 2 shipping options visible only when shipping is free and the paid methods to be hidden.

You can find a complete working code and other options (plugins) to hide the other shipping methods when Free Shipping is enabled here:

I hope this points you in the right direction.

Hello, thank you for your reply. I already have the shipping methods hidden when free shipping is applied. My problem is that I want my customer to choose which shipping company he\she prefers for the free shipping. I have shipping company a and shipping company b and both have free shipping over 50euros. At the checkout it only shows “free shipping” when that amount is met and I want it to show “shipping company a : free shipping” and “shipping company b: free shipping”, for the customer to choose.

    Hi @eleutheriavhld,

You can set up two separate Free Shipping methods for each shipping company to achieve this.

In the free shipping method settings, dont forget to set the “Free shipping requires…” dropdown to “A minimum order amount” and set the “Minimum order amount” to 50.

You can then add the name of the shipping company to the Method Title field. This way, when the order total is over 50 euros, your customers will see both shipping methods and can choose their preferred one.

On a side note, you can consider using a WooCommerce Shipping plugin that provides more advanced shipping features and flexibility, which might benefit your business. For example, the WooCommerce Table Rate Shipping plugin can help you set up complex shipping rules.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.
