Different Footer Widget Area background color in Chrome vs Firefox & IE

  • I am very new to WP and recently created a website using the Ceska Lipa theme. The Footer Widget Area is displaying correctly on Chrome (blue background/white text). However, on Firefox and IE, it’s displaying incorrectly (white background/white text) – making the text illegible. Can someone please assist me? How do i get the background color of the footer widget area to be blue?
