  • Hi @patpayte,

Please note that since the release of WooCommerce 4.0 in March 2019, the reports functionality has been deprecated and is no longer being maintained/updated.

We recommend using the Analytics feature. I hope this helps!

Hi @sukafia, thanks for letting me know. so to double confirm, even if our WooCommerce ver is updated into WooCommerce 5.0, the reports functionality is also no longer updated?

    Thanks

    Hi @patpayte,

That’s correct, WooCommerce Reports are no longer being maintained/updated since WooCommerce 4.0. Therefore, feel free to use the new reporting tool onwards: WooCommerce Analytics

Hi @abwaita , okay thanks for clarifying. May I also check in that if the product is being refunded, the figures on product analytics also decreased? or it still capture the stock? thanks

    Hi @patpayte,

That depends on how you perform the refund. Assuming you have stock management enabled, if you tick “restock refunded items” during your refund, then the product’s stock will be updated as well.

Hi @abwaita , okay noted on this. but to clarify, for cancelled orders, the stock won’t be counted on product analytics right? only processing/on-hold/completed orders? Thanks

    Hi @patpayte,

Thanks for keeping the thread up.

Just to mention, for canceled orders, the stock is usually returned to your inventory. Therefore, in your Analytics→ Stocks report, the stock shown for each product is updated based on all order statuses that affect your stock.

Here’s a list that explains order statuses and how they adjust your stock: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-orders/#order-statuses
