Different email subscription service?

    I noticed the plugin is tied to Specific Feeds (SF) email subscription service.

    I am concerned because SF doesn’t allow me to see subscriber email addresses, which I need in case SF goes out of business one day or I want to change subscriber services. All subscribers would be lost!

    It seems I am tied to their service for a lifetime? I would rather choose an email service with more transparency and gives me more control.

    Is it possible to use another email service with your plug-in? Thank you for your help (I really like your plugin otherwise).

    Hi LM9,

    Thanks a lot for your question. A few points:

    – SF does allow you to get access to the emails who sign up. Please claim your feed for that first (by clicking “Publisher: Claim your feed” on your subscription screen and following the steps).

    – You can also use another service. Just upload an email-icon as custom icon and link it to your subscription page. Please email me at support at ultimatelysocial dot com so that I can send you the icon of the design you picked (please let me know your blog url).
