• Hi,

I have a problem with my wordpress images.

I have uploaded a theme onto my server.

For example, my woordpress url would be:

    https://www.website.com/wordpress

However, I wanted it to be a subdomain and so I changed it to:

    https://www.wordpress.website.com

Now, if I access the wordpress blog from the renewed url, then the images won’t show up but if I go to https://www.website.com/wordpress then they will.

So I thought, I’ll write in the whole url of the images on the stylesheet yet that made no difference when i visiited wordpress.website.com and so the images still didn’t show up.

How may I make them show up?

  • First of all: for a subdomain this is incorrect: https://www.wordpress.example.com
there is no WWW if you are on a subdomain!
    Just wordpress.example.com

Next, what images are we talking about: Theme images? POst images?

    How about a link?
And if you don’t make the necessary changes in your admin panel before modifying the URL… your blog will not work, of course.
So, don’t play with the URLs if you don’t know what you are doing.
