    Hi,

I saw in a previous post that you were just about to release the option to add a date for each individual product in the cart, but it looks like it never happened. You referenced your booking plugin as something that does this, but I am selling products and really just need to capture separate dates for all the products in the cart. Is this something you are still working on?

Thank you, I think this will work for me. My only concern is what happens when someone order’s items with different delivery days? does it give them the ability to set up two separate deliveries?

    Hi Jessica,

From my understanding, your question is whether the client will be able to select two separate deliveries for the order. Currently, from our Order Delivery Date Pro for WooCommerce plugin it is not possible to select two different delivery dates for an order, only one delivery date can be selected for an order.

Please correct me if I misunderstood your query with an example which would help me in understanding and I can assist you in a better way.

    Komal Maru.

Yes that is what I was asking. We would be usuing this plugin to assign delivery times to perishable products that would have to be delivered on specific days. The products will be ordered a week in advance of delivery so it is entirly possible that someone will be checking out with items in thier cart containing two seperate manditory delivery options. What would happen in this instance if they where not allowed to select both deliveries days? Would it default to one? Is there any way around this?

    thanks you!

    Hi Jessica,

From our Order Delivery Date Pro for WooCommerce plugin, only one Delivery Date can be selected for an order on the checkout page.

Can you please explain me in detail what do you mean by ‘two separate mandatory delivery options’? It would be great if you could explain me with screenshot or example which would help me in understanding and assist you in a better way.

    Regards,
    Komal Maru.

    Hi Komal,

I am going to purchase the the plugin and hope that I can make it work because I am out of time. I wish I had a better way to illustrate the problem but unfortunately I don’t. I will try to explain it the best I can and hopefully you can think of a solution for me.

Let’s use an example timeframe of 2 weeks. Each week will start and end on Sunday. On the first Sunday of week 1 items are put up for sale. Customers have all week, until next Sunday to order these items. These items won’t be delivered until week 2. Deliveries are on Wednesday and Friday of week 2.

When customers are placing their orders during week 1 they can choose a delivery or pick up option for week 2. Their options are: Wednesday delivery or Friday delivery. However, some items for sale have a mandatory Wednesday or Friday delivery. If a customer had two items in their cart for purchase and one item was marked “Wednesday Only” and the other item was market “Friday Only” and combining these into one delivery IS NOT an option, what would happen? I need the option to arrange for two separate deliveries in a single order.

I hope this clarifies things and you have an solution for me ??

    Best,
    Jessica

    Hi Jessica,

Thank you for the detailed explanation of the scenario.

Currently, from our plugin the date and the time settings of the first product(product category) out of the all the products present in the cart will be taken into consideration and reflect on the checkout page.

For example, if a client adds a product in the cart which is to be delivered only on Friday first then the client selects other product which is to be delivered on Wednesday. The client will be able to choose the delivery date of Friday only and not of Wednesday.

Other case, if client adds a product in a cart which is to be delivered only on Wednesday first then chooses the other product which is to be delivered on Friday then client will be able to choose the delivery date of Wednesday only and not of Friday.

So, the date and time settings of first product category present in the cart will be taken into consideration.

I hope I have cleared your doubt.

    Regards,
    Komal Maru.

    Hello,

Is it possible to set a specific delivery date for each product ?

We are selling a different product each day hence i would like to set the delivery date on the backend so that on checkout page delivery date is already selected depending on product chosen.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Yes, it is possible to set a specific delivery date for each product by using our ‘Product Delivery Date Pro for WooCommerce’ plugin. The set specific date can be selected on the product page.

But currently, it is not possible from our plugin to pre-populate the delivery date in the Delivery Date field on the product page.

Hi there, first off I am so glad that you made a plugin that specifies a separate delivery date for each product but I am looking for something that goes just a step further. Is there anyway I can pay you to make a special addition to the plugin for me that allows an upcharge to be added for deliveries that are added within the same day for a specific product category. For example, I am building a website for a african kitchen that also does online catering. They want the ability to add 15% to all catering orders that are needed the same day they are placed. This 15% can only affect products that fall within the catering category.

    Please let me know

    Thanks

help me if you have any idea about plugins or change in code , i am newbieto wordpress

    Hi,

Currently, from our Lite version plugin, it is not possible to set different date settings for different shipping methods.

However, from our Order Delivery Date Pro for WooCommerce plugin (Pro version) it is possible to set different date and time settings based on different WooCommerce default shipping methods or for different shipping classes under the Custom Delivery Settings tab present in the settings page of our plugin.

You can also use the ‘Minimum Delivery time (in hours)’ settings for different shipping methods.

You can try your requirements on our demo site. Here are the links of our demo site: https://demo.tychesoftwares.com/woocommercepro/wp-admin and this is the front end link: https://demo.tychesoftwares.com/woocommercepro/?page_id=5

Please let me know if you have any further queries.

    Regards,
    Komal Maru.
