Different count of Posts

    Hi, WP-Sweep shows a total of 953 Posts, but I’v created just 900 posts. Whats wrong? All revisions, auto Drafts or deleted posts are deleted …

    Run SELECT COUNT(*) FROM wp_posts directly using PHPMyAdmin and it should show you the same count.

    Run SELECT * FROM wp_posts if you need to see what they are.

    What can I do to get rid of the posts that are not displayed in my dashboard but still seem to lie in the DB? 926 on dashboard; 975 on Sweep …

    Some of them are auto drafts and revisions. Your dashboard only shows posts. Even media attachment is counted as a post. Just trust the plugin to delete everything, sweep all.
