Different categories in different category widgets?

  • Hi people, i’m pretty new to wordpress and now i would like to know if there’s a plugin available, or if its even possible, to add 2 category widgets to a sidebar but make them show different categories (like the id exclude in the page widget)?!?

    Noticed ‘Ultimate Category Exclude’ but that one’s not ready for 2.3 apparently… anyone have some alternative suggestions… please? ??
