• In Events Manager I have set exactly the same user rights for Administrators and Editors. As Administrator I have no problems. But when I log in as an Editor or Contributor, I get the message: Sorry, but you do not have the correct permissions to install the layerslider wp and revolution slider plugins. Then I can’t properly add an Event (location options don’t display). I don’t need or want those plugins. Why is there this difference? How can I allow an Editor or Contributor to enter events without giving them all the other options?

Yes, as I said. Can you help?

Events Manager doesn’t include or require any slider plugin, so I think this is an issue with either another plugin or your theme.

Do you get the same message if you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?

Thanks, Calmin. You’re right. It was a Theme issue. I still don’t understand why the message only appeared when I wasn’t Admin, but it seems I can dismiss it and continue.
