Different background on posts and pages

    Hello all,

    I’m just wondering if it’s possible to have 1 kind of background for posts on main page and have different background for all pages. not seperat but all pages to have same background… and all posts displayed on main to have different background.

    This is possible if you can use add or amend the CSS in your theme’s stylesheet.

    yes i’m using CSS in my theme. But my problem is when i do changes in CSS they apply both on posts and pages.

    You many need to amend your theme’s header.php template file to make use of the body_class() function so that you can target CSS more accurately.

    im not sure i know how to do that …

    i did try but i failed. Could i ask you if you have time that is to take this step by step with me… ?
