Differences on the home page when using Baskerville 2 and post types

I’m planning to upgrade my sites theme from the original Baskerville to Baskerville 2. However, there are some issues with different types of post on the home page.

1. Paragraph breaks aren’t displayed in the excerpts shown on the home page.
2. A video post no longer shows the video, it just shows the video’s URL.
3. A quote post isn’t displaying the quote – it displays the text excerpt.
4. A gallery post doesn’t display the text excerpt, just the gallery images.
