Differences between files class-uploader.php

Since 2.8.0, in the next update we are having some errors with the pictures in the profiles. The profiles can’t upload or update pictures.
We detect in this file “class-uploader.php” that does not include this lines
in 1294 line:

            if ( !is_array($submitted) ) {
                  $submitted = unserialize($submitted);
              }

Could you please check if this is a bug in the updates?
This forces me to do the updates manually and add the lines.
