    Hi team,

What is the difference between these two plugins?

    • TranslatePress – Business (Version 1.4.0)
    • TranslatePress – Multilingual (Version 2.8.3)

    Thank you!

    Hello,
    ?
    Thank you for reaching out.
    ?
TranslatePress – Business and TranslatePress – Multilingual are two different license types of the same plugin, rather than two distinct plugins.

The Business license is our por plugin, available with the BUsiness subscription plan, and includes Features: Autoamtic translation, Automatic User Language Detection, SEO translation for international SEO, and other features. You can consult these details on our pricing page: https://translatepress.com/pricing/

On the other hand, TranslatePress – Multilingual is the core plugin with the basic features of making your site bilingual or multilingual. It allows you to translate all the content directly from the front-end, in a user-friendly interface.
    ?
?Both plugins need to stay active if you use the pro one.
    ?

Hope this clarifies your doubt. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.

    Best Regards,

    Thanks!

So you always need the TranslatePress – Multilingual plugin as a core and on top you can use the TranslatePress – Business plugin, right?

You’re saying they are basically the same plugin but once installed, they appear as two distinct ones, right?

    Hi,

Both plugins need to stay active. TranslatePress – Multilingual is our core plugin (same with our free version available on WP.org) while TranslatePress – Business is the one that adds the pro features (it requires a subscription). Both need to be installed and activated separately on your website.
