Difference between Drafts and Pending

    so I understand what a Draft is but will it sill publish on its slotted date while marked as draft? I would think at some point its status would need to change.

    I assume Pending means it is ready to go on the selected date? if so how is that different from Scheduled?

    just curious I think this plug-in will be helpful for me.

    WordPress separates the DRAFT status from the PENDING status. If a post is a DRAFT that is scheduled tomorrow then it won’t actually get published tomorrow. It has to be PENDING to get published at the scheduled time.
