Hi @mplusplus
Default redirect url:
By default Nextend Social Login redirects the users back to the same page where the social button was pressed. In these cases if you hover over the social button you will see the “redirect” parameter appearing in the url.
If this “redirect” parameter doesn’t appear in the URL, ( e.g. when you are on the /wp-login.php page ) then we will redirect the users to the url that you entered for the “Default redirect url – for Register/Login” field.
Fixed redirect url:
This is the strongest redirect in Nextend Social Login. In this case the “redirect” parameter doesn’t matter. This means, if the URL that you enter into the “Fixed redirect url – for Register / Login” fields is valid and allowed, then the user will end up on that url after a successful login/registration.
Best regards,
Laszlo.
