Diferent email based on categories

    Hi have a website where the homepage as posts as tiles and a external url and a blog page with normal posts with the specific subpage. In the subscribe plugin i have one email template that sends the text with a permalink that works great for the blog posts obvioulsy, but for the homepage tiles i want to be able to send the same email but instead of post permalink i want the homepage link to be showed. Is this hard to do? Having two template based on categories or something?

    Subscribe2 only supports one email template so having 2 is not an option. I’m not really sure that I fully understand the setup of your site to be honest but I don’t think Subscribe2 can do what you need as your site sound fairly customised.

    Basically, forgetting about my specific website, my question would required a lot of work in admin area to have a dropdown and select a category and then setup a template for that category, and every other category left outside would use a general template. Everything it’s possible, maybe in the future this could be a feature nice to have.
