• I was disappointed at the display options since Avada recommended this plugin. This plugin creates a separate huge page of lengthy options for each event, which isn’t optimal for the site I’m working on. Too complex for entering simple new events, and there aren’t any easy customizations to make it compact and concise. I don’t like the navigation on the event pages at all and need something much more straightforward and intuitive.

Really sorry to hear that, @lpblue.

We do try hard to stop the settings experience from being overwhelming. In fact, we often prefer to provide our users with snippets of code or “mini plugins” to facilitate various adjustments for precisely this reason – we want to avoid settings overload.

If you have further specifics we’d love to hear from you!

Right now all you need to do is click Add New Event, provide a title and a date and hit publish – there are certainly other options on the screen (simply because there are lots of things people commonly need in addition to those two items) but we like to think it’s a good balance.

In an ideal world, what you want us to remove – or conversely, what are the essential elements you would keep?

    Thanks!
