Didn’t Work for Me

    This actually didn’t work at all. Really weird. I have a brand new WP site using the Underscores theme from Automatic. So I removed this plugin and added the WP Maintenance plugin by Designmodo. That one worked instantly. My front page template is customized – maybe this one can’t handle too much of that?

    Hey,

    As you are the only one out of 40k people that it doesn’t work for currently I suspect there is something else going on.. I wonder if you tried to see your site while being logged in? If you try to enable maintenance mode and view your site in incognito mode or in different browser it should work.

    It works the way that if you are logged in you should still see your site as an admin.

    Another thing might be some kind of caching, not necessary as plugin (as you mentioned it was fresh install) but server side caching.

    I hope that helps and I would appreciate if you could double check this and perhaps submit a support thread rather than review for a plugin that you could not really try out.
