Only have the one group on my test site – mine.

Under “Groups to exclude” it showed my group, with no ability to remove it.

No star rating available for review and two approved reviews resulted in 404 error.

@sandgroper Please try again, we have pushed new version today. It’s tested with the latest version of BuddyPress and WordPress both.
Let me know if you have any issues with it.

Still doesn’t work for me. Tabs show but clicking on “Add Review” gives a 404 error.

Noticed there was an extra box to tick in User Capabilities for “Reviews”, but didn’t help.

Added shortcode to bottom of group’s About page, which worked, but you have to select which group. The form also appeared at the top of the page, not the bottom where I put it.

    Not interested in trying again.

Disabled all plugins except BuddyPress, changed to stock theme.

Still doesn’t work. Clicking on “add review” just gives 404 error.

I have over 35 plugins installed and have never had a problem. This one just won’t work.

If a plugin doesn’t work out of the box then I will not use it.

I do not want to give anyone access to my website or cPanel just to get a plugin to work.

@sandgroper we have pushed fixes to the new version and you can update plugin directly.
It was not working for some users due to the hookable position, we have changed the hook from bp_include to bp_init which was used to create the tab for add review.

    Hi Vapvarun,

Yes it is now working on my test site. Well done.

Will do some more testing tomorrow, but one thing that I noticed that may deter me from using it on a live site is the tabs appear on Private groups.

Clicking on them redirects to the login page. This is something I avoid with private groups, as it just confuses and annoys users.

MediaPress did that with the Gallery tab, but they patched it so it didn’t show up.

Something to consider for people wishing to use the plugin.

Another confusing issue is the grammar. By default to read reviews you would click on “Review” which people would think means make a review.

If you change it to “Reviews” then you get “Add Reviews”, which implies more than one.

The two should not be linked. You should see Reviews to read them and Add Review to make one.

I know I may seem picky, but users pull my sites apart all the time and drive me nuts.

    @sandgroper Thanks, for feedback
It will also remove add review as the main menu and it should be a submenu under Reviews tabs.
