• You have to take care when installing and reinstalling the plugin, because it can backup the previously created backup folder. You will end up with a large backup file. As my client in this case.

    Hey there,

    From looking at the screenshot it looks like you have previously uninstalled BackUpWordPress and then re-installed it, unfortunately that caused it to create a new backups directory.

    So essentially you ended up with 2 backups directories, the old one with 10GB of old backups and your new one.

    I’d suggest either deleting the older backups directory entirely or moving the backups from it to your new backups directory.

    I am a developer myself but this happened to a client. He later on told me he did exactly what you just commented. I changed the rating because of that explanation ??
