    I tried this plugin hoping it would help me sort out duplicate images which PressThis uploads every time I use it to create a post. Each image I add is given an extra image in the Media Library, with -1 added to the file name in every case. This would be simply a matter of deleting the extra image but the -1 image is the one which actually posts (not the original I uploaded).

    Anyway, out of all the duplicate images in my Media Library the Deduper only picked out three. I know it is not intended to fix this problem exactly but I was hoping for more help than that. So I am not posting this as a review, just a note for support. For me it didn’t catch nearly as many duplicate images as I was hoping it would.

  • Thanks. We haven’t been eyeing PressThis as a use case to dedupe against, but will try to take a look — if there’s an easy way to handle your situation, we’ll try to get it taken care of!
