I’m really sorry to hear that you’ve had a bad experience with our plugin. I have just seen this review, otherwise I would have responded sooner. I wanted to take a moment to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience! And to also maybe clear things, as it seems there was a bit of a misunderstanding along the way.
Regarding the shortcode not working:
Please allow me to better explain this and how the shortcode works. The shortcode was mainly designed to be added manually on single post in order to display the author information. It can also be added in widgets, but those widgets have to be on a single post, otherwise it does not have an author information to display. You tried adding the shortcode on your blog page, and the plugin did not have an author information to display/did not know which author information to display – hence it did not work.
We are sorry if there was any confusion regarding what the shortcode is for, we did our best to create a clear and concise description. We will double-check it to see if it needs further improvement.
Regarding the author image showing and being displayed in a circle:
I am not sure why it did not work on your end, but when I tried to add it on your website it worked from get go.
