    I was using this plugin pretty successfully (v4 something) and then I did the update of the plugin.

    I have a large DB involved with about 40K records. With the old version, it was slow in showing 0.07%, them more, then resetting etc., but then it would complete eventually.

    Now it just sits a 0.07% for at lest 15min? I kinda’ gave up as this was far longer than before.

    Does this seem right?

    Ah! Seems if I go to the folder where previous archives are created and delete them, it works as expected.

    Usually you do not have to.
    Do you have backups from other plugins inside wp-content or wp-content/uploads as well?

    No. I am only using this right now for backups.

    I have seen this behavior on more than one site.
