Did wordpress already remove this feature?

    Just want to check with the author of the plugin to see if wordpress already remove this embed feature in the latest wordpress version. If yes, we can have one less plugin to install on the site. besides this plugin hasnt update for a while, wonder if it can compatible with php7 and latest wordpress version.

    No, this feature was not removed from WordPress and it’s unlikely that it will be anytime soon. The majority of users likes it, so there’s no need to remove it. For everyone else there is this plugin ??

    It’s true that I haven’t updated the plugin in a while, mainly because there is no reason to. The plugin 100% works fine with the latest version of WordPress and PHP 7.

    Hi Pascal, I’d suggest you do a few small things so that your plugin can show as recently updated, that way it will not trigger alerts from security software scans that flag older plugins that haven’t been updated. Just a suggestion. MTN

    Hey @swissspidy,

    I was about to create a new post to ask if the plugin was still supported. It might be a good idea to bump the plugin so this warning does not appear.
