• I am working on a production site with version 1.9.5. I applied the latest theme update to the staging site, and I can’t understand why support for the Lato Google font has been lost.

    The live site contains <link rel='stylesheet' id='vega-wp-googlefont2-css' href='//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lato%3A400%2C100%2C100italic%2C300%2C300italic%2C400italic%2C700%2C700italic%2C900%2C900italic&ver=4.9.2' type='text/css' media='all' />

I can’t find any font settings in the customizer or otherwise. Did this theme remove Google fonts support between these versions?

  • Hi Corey,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

Lato is still the main font in Vega. Take a look at the screenshot from Vega demo (latest 2.3.4 version): https://prntscr.com/i69zis
Here you can find also screenshot of font used in the code: https://prntscr.com/i6a065

Could you provide the URL to your site so I’ll have a look?

Vega Pro has special options for changing Fonts.

Thank you for your time in this.

    Best regards

Thanks for the quick response. I found a line in my child theme’s functions file that dequeued the custom font. My problem, not yours. Sorry & thanks again.

    Hi @salzano,

I’m glad to hear you’ve figured it out.

Feel free to reach out if you need anything.
