Portfolio Slideshow didn't work

    Never worked.. only showed the first image.

    I tried adding just the shortcode [portfolio_slideshow]

    and also with all kinds of options
    [portfolio_slideshow trans=fade nav=false include=”112,108″ nowrap=0]

    but no go. ??

    Did you check the FAQ? This is almost always caused by a jquery conflict with an incorrectly coded plugin or with your theme. If you post a link I can try to help.

    Thank you Dalton, appreciate the help.. right now I’ve just added it as [portfolio_slideshow]

    and kept the nav to show you I have 2 images.. but it doesn’t change automatically.. only if we click on next.. I want a continuous slideshow.. I would be adding a few more images..

    If you want it to autoplay, you just need to add a timeout value, for example:

    [portfolio_slideshow timeout=4000]

    I was very excited to download this plugin and begin uploading pictures. (It’s my 8th gallery plugin so far, all others haven’t worked either) I followed these steps.
    1) Downloaded and activated plugin
    2) Uploaded images
    3) Saved changes (closed window,doesn’t give option to upload)
    4) Entered shortcode [portfolio_slideshow] in the New Page edit area and clicked Publish and nothing. The only thing that publishes is the page title.
    I’m trying to make a Photo Gallery page not a post.
    Please help. I’m using wordpress 3.0 which the plugin says it’s compatable with.

    Resolved by clicking the html tab (instead of visual) before uploading a gallery on a new page. If this is the norm, I haven’t read that in any installation instructions. I posted on another forum with a problem publishing “New Pages” and was told to try the html tab instead of visual which worked too!! Anyway, hopes this helps out anyone else!

    By the way, AWESOME plugin!!!!! Will probably upgrade soon!!!

    That doesn’t sound normal (I know I don’t have problems switching between the visual and the HTML editor) and in fact the Pro version has a “shortcode builder” button on the toolbar that only works in visual mode. You may want to consider a WordPress upgrade, but I’m glad you figured it out!

    Hi Dalton

    Perhaps you can help. I have Portfolio slideshow installed on WP theme and it shows up great on Macs including Iphones but on PC’s the image is tiny. I’ve tried firefox and explorer on both operating systems.
