• Hi there,
I tried installing Hippoo plugin and Hippoo app on my phone (currently using ios 17.7) for my website.
But when I tried to make a dummy order, I don’t get any new order notification on my phone.
Is there something that I missed out?

  • Hello @pandakun and thanks for using Hippoo app

Usually, no additional settings are required to receive notifications. Please ensure that notifications are enabled for the Hippoo app on your phone.
    Here is the instruction.

Note that you won’t receive notifications if you are inside the app and it’s currently open. Also, notifications are only sent for in-progress orders.

If you’re still not receiving notifications, we may need access to your staging environment or shop to investigate further.

    Hi there,
    thanks for your reply.

About your statement “…Note?that you won’t receive notifications if you are inside the app and it’s currently open. Also, notifications are only sent for in-progress orders.“,

As we may know in Woocommerce documentation here: https://woocommerce.com/document/managing-orders/order-statuses/, there are several type of order status.
Is “in-progress orders” you said here the same with “Processing” status in Woocommerce?
If it is Yes, then does it means that I will not receive any notification if the order status are “on hold”?

    Please confirm.

    Hi there,
    thanks for the reply.

Okay, so custom notifications are the answer if I need order notifications for “On hold” order?

Anyway, I’m interested about the premium membership that you mentioned, but is all feature available on iOS? Please confirm, which is available, and which one is not available.

Yes, you need to have custom notification.

Available feature for iOS at the moment:

    Custom order status notification.

Generate order ID and product SKU in your Woocommerce dashboard.

    Website uptime monitoring notification
