Did not get any connection to telegram

  • I tried to test Telegram Bot on my multisite test environment. I have installed the plugin, created a bot with botfather, copied the bot tokent to settings, added the bot to my telegram list but it seems there is no connection between wordpress and telegram.
    I see no subscriber in the list. If i click on add subscriber i got a page window – what is to do there?
    I don′t see any message entered from the wordpress plugin on my telegram account.
    After searching the forum a little bit i deactivated wordfence and any other plugins for testing – but without any result.
    I think it would be very helpful for debugin if the plugin would check if a connection to the bot is possible or not.
    I have no idea how to solve this general problem. Maybe i have overseen instructions in an installation guide more detailed than https://wptele.ga/docs/ ?

    Hi,
    do you have https? If not, did you subscribed to our site and configured the plugin accordingly?

    Hi Marco,
    thank you for your hint. Maybe my self signed certificate caused an error, so i subscribed to wptele.ga and changed the settings. But it did not change anything. Whether i got any errors nor any messages from and to telegram. I unsubscribed and subscribed the bot again – but my account is not added in the subscriber list.
