DG Category problem

I’m having problems creating a media gallery using the categories reference. I have 10 files attached to the category (Taxon name = “EU Law”, slug=eulaw and category ID = 26). But noting is providing the expected result.
[dg category=laweu]
[dg category="laweu"]
Error: laweu is not a valid term slug/name in category
[dg category=26]
[dg category="26"]
Error: 26 is not a valid term slug/name in category
[dg taxon_name="EU law"]
Error: The taxon value entered, “taxon_name”, is not valid.No other categories provide a result either. Is this feature by any chance removed from the options?
For category management I use the “Enhanced Media Library” plugin. WordPress version installed is 4.7.3.

Well I managed to identify the problem (thx to this post here. I installed other media library category plugins and it appears that some of them were using the same categories as posts with the same taxonomy name
category. In the WP database I discovered that the default taxonomy name for media in the Enhanced Media Library plugin ismedia_category. In the media settings this could be changed, but that means that my posts and media would use the same categories and this is not what I want. But when I use the shortcode[dg id=-1 media_category=laweu]it gives the result that I want.This may be helpful for others not having results when using categories. Look in the SETTINGS > MEDIA > (tab) MEDIA TAXONOMY which taxonomy name is used. Change it to “category” or use the taxonomy name used in the DG shortcode.
