Device Preview Not Correct

  • Suddenly my Device Preview in Customizer is not correct. Previously I had been able to click the icons at the bottom of Customizer to see the desktop view and mobile view. However now when I click desktop view, it flashes on the screen for just a second and then reverts to showing mobile view. I cannot see desktop view. I have deactivated all plugins, and viewed this on 3 browsers, and it’s always the same.

    Running WordPress 5.7.2 and Jacqueline Theme

    Have you tried switching to a twenty* default theme while all plugins deactivated? There can possibly be some sort of theme/plugin conflict.

    If you still have trouble, check you browser console for script errors after you experience trouble. Any listed errors need to be resolved for proper behavior. Such errors are invariably from a theme or plugin.

    Thanks for your response – still working on it with the methods you have suggested, and haven’t yet located the conflict. Still trying.
