I am new WP user trying to set up my development environment.
What is the best way to automatically refresh the browser when performing WP admin area edits and CSS/HTML/PHP edits using Sublime Test 3?

    My development environment:
    Macbook Pro
    OSX Yosemite
MAMP 3 local host (port 80)
    Sublime Text 3
    Firefox Developer Edition
    Wordpress 4.1

  • The best way is to change your browser’s configuration to always check for new versions of pages. Otherwise, you may be able to hit Crtl + F5 to get your browser to refresh using the latest version instead of the browser’s cached copy.

I have try browser add-ons and extensions which work fine when not using the MAMP/local host. The extensions and add-ons don’t respond under the local host environment.

I am using a WP plugin CSS refresh which updates the browser on page save.

So far, I have not been able to find a way to refresh the browser when doing in the browser WP admin area edits.

Can the browser be configured to do this task automatically?
