    Based on existing WordPress site, I intend to come out with an app. Help appreciated such as which plugin to use or any tip.

  • What do you mean by “an app”? In some sense, a website is already an application on its own. You want some mobile app? A desktop app that can run out of the browser?

    You don’t necessarily need any plugin to interact with WP from a mobile app. It can usually all be done through its REST API. Aside from using the API, mobile app development is outside of the scope of these WP forums. You’ll likely get better advice through support forums dedicated to mobile app development.

    FWIW, there are already WP mobile apps for both iOS and Android. You may have something else in mind, but the app contributors and resources might still be useful to you. If you’re interested, you too can contribute to this mobile app project.

    Thanks. I meant Android app.

    Keep in mind that some WP plugins doesn’t provide a REST API. So you may not be able to implements all of you website functionalities into your app.
