Developing a WP site from an existing static site

  • Hello,

    I hope I’m posting this in the appropriate forum.

    I am in the process of converting an existing static website to a WordPress site hosted elsewhere.

    What is the best way to develop the site in stealth mode, than change the domain once it’s ready?

    I’m using a domain name (domain.tv) to develop the new WordPress site and, when ready, would like to switch that over to the existing domain (domain.com).
