Develop imposes social icons

    This plugin is good overall, but the developer turns on a social icon by default every time it’s added. Had that problem with LinkedIn a while back, and now WhatsApp.

    When this happens, you have to turn off the social icon for every gallery that you have created. No option to bulk edit, of course.

    Frustrating.

    Thank you for your review and feedback.
    First, I want to apologies for this inconvenience and your experience.
    Regarding the addition of the new Whatsapp icon unfortunately by default the social buttons are on, and because users do not have any previous settings for Whatsapp (because it did not existed) it takes that default setting and sets it to on.
    Nonetheless, we thank you for your feedback and we will investigate and see if there are any other solutions when adding new social media options.

    In the meantime, you could turn that off by adding this code in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:

    .modula .modula-items .tile .jtg-social a.modula-icon-whatsapp {
	display: none;
}
