• I switched from TwentyFourteen to a new theme (premium theme) and all the troubles started then. The cache plugin made a huge mess and the only way to fix this is to disable page caching completely. If I touch the minfication settings the website breaks completely.

I emailed w3 total cache through their official website and got no response. I am not emailing anyone on this forum, I want an official reply to the email I sent. I don’t mind paying a small fee for the dev team to fix this. I am sure its a minor issue that can be easily resolved. I was advised by the theme’s developer to contact total cache. I am 99.9% sure all the problems are with total cache.

Please reply to my email, it was sent a few days ago or last week, can’t remember now.

  • They have been MIA for almost 2 years. So don’t get your hopes up. There is a small ragtag group of us that roam this forum to help and even have our own community driven w3tc build that fixes a lot of the bugs.

Your problem doesn’t sound that hard to fix and likely isnt related to a bug of w3tc. You shouldn’t need to pay anything. And be careful if you pay since anyone who has paid has found out the hard way that no one is there to assist and then they nuisance of getting a credit card transaction reversal is now their new problem.

Your problem is a bit vague. I don’t know if you are implying page caching is the problem or if enabling minify was the problem.

Minification is usually the culprit because when u enable the default “Auto” mode it attempts to combine your js and css files and sometimes the ordering of them (which is usually important) is mixed up. If that is the case, you need to switch to “Manual” and under Minify use the “Help” button to populate the files and shuffle them around into the right order.
