dev domains keep deactivating it

  • This has always drives me crazy! I have a live site and a dev site on the same server. they share the same database but when its activated on one domain it disables the other. This is the same when my local version of the new site which is also using the live database.

    Is there any way this can be made better for development? ie could any domain that ends .local or is localhost not de-active the plugging which obviously messes up the order of everything on the live site.

    Could it work to the IP of the server and / or subdomains of the main site its activated with?

    Actually this should work with localhost, staging, 127.0.0.1 Possible you can change your vhost to any of above?
    We are working to extend our system and allow multiple instances for a key, but may take a bit more until ready.
